The YEC community team is growing once again! We’re excited to announce the addition of our newest Community Director, Patrick O’Keefe.
Patrick lives in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. He was homeschooled for K-12 and graduated a year early. He currently owns and operates a network of websites, the iFroggy Network, including the Community Signal podcast, which he hosts. Patrick is a published author of “Managing Online Forums” and a public speaker, having spoken at CNN, Dell, FedEx, South by Southwest, Australian National University, Northwestern University and Arizona State University.
From Patrick: “Great online communities change lives. YEC is an example of this. I love the work that goes into online community building, most of which the people in the community never really know about. This isn’t glamorous work, so you really have to love it. Community professionals aren’t rock stars, we’re stage managers.
“I am excited to join the CommunityCo team and help however I can, as they continue to empower community members to grow, personally and professionally.”
Outside of work, Patrick can be found killing zombies with his brothers in Call of Duty.
