YEC members and invited guests met up amidst the bustle of CES 2017 for an evening of cocktails and conversation. Our Welcome to Vegas cocktail reception was co-hosted by YEC members Lisa Song Sutton and Deven Chase of Sutton & Chase, and was held at business mogul Phil Maloof’s penthouse.
Members mingled throughout the penthouse, 59 stories above the Las Vegas strip at Palms Place. Chatting about CES and shared business challenges, people munched on light bites such as cappers skewers and cake poppers provided by Sin City Cupcakes. The loft boasted 27,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor space, 360 degree views of the strip, a 20-person hot tub, an outdoor theater, and a Picasso.
Many YEC members were in town for the event, and a number of them were having a blast on the show floor and launching new products. For example, Chris Carter of REP Interactive hosted a game show about smart home tech for a client via Facebook Live, while Jerry Wilmink of WiseWear launched a few new co-branded products.
Other members in attendance included Jeremy Kenisky of Merge VR, Phil Laboon of WUDN, Will and Laura Land of Marketplace Valet, Zee Ali of Adscend Media, Laura Mignott of DigitalFlash, Ali Mirza of Rose Garden Consulting, Beck Bamberger of BAM Communications, Akil Kurji of BrandNex, Chad Rogers of Lemonlight, Jake Reisch of Eversound, William Wu of Lai Hing Group, Phillip Oakley of Common Giant, Patrick Barnhill of Specialist ID and Rishi Malik of Parkifi among others.
