BOSTON — MIT President Rafael Raif wrote an opinion piece in the Washington Post last year titled “A better way to deliver innovation to the world.” The op-ed called for a new way to support innovation by forming a coalition of funders from the public, for-profit and not-for-profit sectors “that could work together to establish ‘innovation orchards.'”
