SILICON VALLEY — GameCommerce has developed a platform called PlayAds that brands can use to engage with their mobile customers through gamification and augmented reality. It enables marketers and ad agencies to build gamified ads and launch them on networks including Facebook, Instagram and Google Display. The company said advertisers report user engagement with PlayAds is about 10 times higher than the average for mobile ads.
