
NEW YORK — Karhoo, the well-funded two-year-old start-up launched by British entrepreneur Daniel Ishag, is no more.
The Soho-based e-hailing service came out of beta last year, touting that it was going to be a formidable rival to Uber, Lyft, Via and Gett. It even joined forces with Verifone, the innovator behind the point-of-sale payment systems in yellow and green taxis. Venture capitalists were on board too.
