SAN FRANCISCO — The three successful entrepreneurs who founded Oakland-based Waypoint Homes in 2009 to invest in homes amidst the housing crisis are now turning their attention to new startups.

Two of Waypoint’s founders, Doug Brien and Colin Wiel, have created Mynd, an Oakland-based venture that offers apps and other tools for small landlords to manage their properties.
