Last week, over 100 YEC members and guests gathered in New Orleans to celebrate technology and entrepreneurship. YEC Connections brought together a great crowd of successful entrepreneurs on Wednesday night during Collision Conference.
The event, which was held in unique, historic restaurant and bar CellarDoor, was powered by Dark Horse Wine and was co-hosted by YEC members John Hall of Influence & Co. and Kenny Nguyen of Big Fish Presentations and Three Sixty Eight. It coincided with Collision Conference, “America’s fastest growing tech conference,” which was held on May 2-4 between the two weekends of Jazz Fest.
YEC’ers in attendance included Sasha Hoffman of Piaggio Fast Forward, Richard Lorenzen of Fifth Avenue Brands, Laura Mignott of Digital Flash, Chad Rogers of Lemonlight, Beth Doane of Main & Rose, Kelly Gibbons of Main & Rose, Elisa Miller-Out of Singlebrook, Brittany Hodak of ZinePak, Zach Ferres of Coplex, Ricardo Ibarra of Auctio, Mary Ellen Slayter of Rep Cap, and Jeremy Goldman of Firebrand Group.
Members who spoke at the conference included Sasha Hoffman, Brittany Hodak, Jeremy Goldman, Kathryn Minshew of The Daily Muse, Oisin Hanrahan of Handybook, Matt Mickiewicz of Hired, and Mada Seghete of Branch.
At the event, staffed by Victory Marketing, guests enjoyed Dark Horse Wine, including chardonnay, pinot grigio, rosé and pinot noir, as well as classic cocktails like La Paloma, Old Fashioned, Sazerac, Champ Cocktail and Pimm’s Cup. Thanks to the venue’s outdoor patio, guests mingled inside and outside while savoring the stimulating drinks and conversation.
Another highlight of the night included the founders of Drone Parks Worldwide who brought their drones, allowing other attendees to participate in the experience.
Photography for the event was provided by Pretty Instant. YEC members can see the full collection of photos from the event, here. You can also learn more about upcoming events in your city at events.yec.co.
