SILICON VALLEY — On Oct. 27, Twitter announced that it is shutting down its video sharing service Vine. Vine was launched in 2013 and allows users to shoot and edit six second videos for dissemination in the Internet. The app made some of its users rich and famous including those in this slideshow.
